As soon as I tasted this coffee at this roast level, I knew I found a winner! I'll confess - I enjoyed using the darker roasts for a decaf coffee ice cream, but as a drinking coffee, this is exactly where I wanted it.
This smooth, tasty coffee (think bittersweet chocolate, dried blueberries, and just a hint of orange) comes courtesy of a small coop of beekeepers and coffee growers - AAPICAFI (Asociación de Apicultores y Caficultores). It was organically grown and decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process.
Decaf is coffee, too, and this one's good enough to make the non-decaf drinkers jealous!
